As Executive Director of Delaplaine Foundation, I am truly honored to carry forward a legacy rooted in generosity, community and a deep commitment to Frederick County, Maryland. As a private family foundation, our work is centered on enriching families, strengthening communities and enhancing quality of life for all.
Being part of this organization is both a privilege and a responsibility I don’t take lightly. I’m grateful for the strong foundation built by our Chairman, George Delaplaine Jr., and for the leadership, mentorship and dedication of Board President, Marlene Young, Treasurer, Phil Hammond, Director of Grantmaking, Blair Wilson, Executive assistant, Jessica Wareham and the full Board of Trustees of Delaplaine Foundation. Their vision and commitment continue to guide our work each day.
At Delaplaine Foundation, we believe that behind every grant is a story of resilience, opportunity and hope. I’m proud to work alongside incredible nonprofit partners throughout Frederick County and beyond who are making a measurable difference in the lives of others.
